The Little Money Bible: The Ten Laws of Abundance by Stuart Wilde : In this wonderful, little book, Stuart Wilde presents the ten laws of abundance and money, showing us that we can align effortlessly with good fortune.
Stuart reveals the psychological aspects of the money game, as well as the deeper secrets of prosperity. He reminds us that comprehending the ebb and flow of money in our lives is one of the great spiritual lessons of life, as are physical balance, love, and interpersonal relationships.
Throughout history, philosophers and great religious leaders have taught that there is divine abundance, which ebbs and flows through our lives as the seasons do.
Money is just a symbol of the infinite goodness that gave us life. Stuart lets us know that we can be rich and be spiritual.
With wealth, we can help others strengthen themselves so that they can also accumulate money. Abundance, Stuart reminds us, is our birthright.
Includes 2 pages of note space after each chapter for notes and highlights. If you are familiar with this great American mystic, this will be a goldmine of spiritual wisdom in one book.
For example, if you had been thinking positively, you wouldn't have been whacked by that crazy driver who just rear-ended you! Or that tornado would have wiped out your neighbor's house and left yours alone if you had only just been positively attuned to the universe.
To that kind of thing, I cry, "Baloney! Of course, life would be better, no doubt, but there are things which are still beyond our power.
I do believe that the mind has great power. I do believe we are all connected in unexplainable ways. I do not believe that there are mystical beings collectively called, "Abraham," who can commune through a woman who is in a trance!
Nevertheless, the book has good stuff in there too, along with the crap. The mind is capable of a lot, including how your body lives, how you present yourself to other people, etc.
When you have a positive train of thought, you will have better health, better prosperity and better life in general. That simply is true and cannot be denied.
Do you ever see people who are always having horrible tragedy all the time? It's because their thoughts are out of whack with what they really want.
They have worse health, worse relationships, they seem to attract all kinds of negativity in their lives and simply cannot seem to get out of the rut.
Some of these people are very nice people, too. They just have a victim mentality and sure 'nuff, they become victims to a life that steamrollers them into the ground.
Unnecessarily, I must add. Worst of all, they never seem to be able to get themselves out of that rut of constant negativity. Until they succeed at changing their thought processes, they will continually have these kinds of problems.
The value of this book is in promoting the idea that you have more control over your life than you think.
Be careful of the mysticism, though. It ain't gonna happen! I will, however, be able to have have good relationships with my friends and neighbors should I choose to do so.
Assuming they are of like mind, of course. I do recommend this book. However, I also suggest you read it with a critical eye to the good things which are here and selectively dismiss the baloney!

Thoughts are powerful and just as easily as you can attract prosperity, happiness, and love, you can attract just the opposite into you life as well.
It's not a book that just tells you to think "happy thoughts" and all will be well, it goes deeper than that, and I go back and read sections of it over This book literally changed my life.
It's not a book that just tells you to think "happy thoughts" and all will be well, it goes deeper than that, and I go back and read sections of it over and over again when I feel as if I may be taking a downward spiral.
I would recommend it to anyone. Jan 15, Sohaib rated it really liked it Shelves: personal-growth , reads , nonfiction.
This book is written in the dialectic style of Socrates. From the peaceful slumber of a meditative state, Esther becomes in touch with I dare say possessed by the numinous figure of Abraham, the shepherd of her soul.
Her husband Jerry is ecstatic. He uses his possessed wife as a channel through which Abraham shall answer the riddles of the universe.
Quite the arrangement for a book about the main tenet of New Thought philosophy: the Law of Attraction. The Socratic method presupposes an argument This book is written in the dialectic style of Socrates.
The Socratic method presupposes an argument. Jerry asks questions, and Abraham posits his three undisputed Universal Laws.
If you think positive, you attract positive. If you think negative, you attract negative. Every circumstance in your life you invite through your thoughts—even people.
Those with similar vibrations thoughts, feelings, interests, ambitions, etc. And so, if you are feeling fat, you cannot attract thin.
If you feel poor, you cannot attract prosperity, and so on. It defies Law. In short, you get what you are thinking about, whether you want it or not.
The conversation between Jerry and Abraham sweeps the reader off into a philosophic storyline that has a distancing effect.
In other words, what Jerry and Esther preach is framed within their discussion with Abraham. This style has two setbacks though.
One, many times I became bored because a lot of information is unduly repeated. Two, dialogue diction inhibits the use of colorful literary language.
Anyway, for me, the Law of Attraction belongs to the tried-and-true category. Reading this book was a way to reiterate what I already know about this Law —that it works, and that the best way to go about utilizing it is through daily meditation and affirmation and visualization.
May 02, Gregg rated it it was amazing Shelves: metaphysics. The fact that this book ended up in my hands it a testament to the law of attraction.
I was wanting a source that out lined the major laws of the universe. From what I understand there are only a few. All the other laws are overtones and sub-harmonics to these three, the trilogy.
As to the source of this information, it comes from a group of individuals who exist at a slightly higher vibrational rate.
This group collectively calls itself Abraham. One of the Co authors Esther Hicks goes into a The fact that this book ended up in my hands it a testament to the law of attraction.
One of the Co authors Esther Hicks goes into a slight trance ah la Seth and acts as a portal for this information to come through. The book's purpose is to explain The 3 main laws of the Universe.
They are the Law of attraction, the Law of deliberate creation, and the Law of allowing. From what the book states, these Laws apply to all beings that exist.
Whatever they look like, and whatever plane of nature they find themselves on. If I'm to understand the ideals expressed, these Laws also apply to what we call God.
The God that created the known Universe gets back its creative expression, based on these 3 Laws, because it was these Laws that it used to bring itself into existence.
There are sections in the text that talk about your personal guidance system, and that is quite simply your emotions. When you feel any negative emotion that means you are out of alignment with your larger self Soul.
When you feel positive emotions it means you are inline with your true self. This is what is meant when Jesus said, I and my father are one. The alignment, a sense of well being, feeling groovy, one with the flow, good health, and the host of other euphemisms that convey the concept that describes this union.
Every page of this book brought a wealth of knowledge to my being. I found myself sneaking back to the book just to re-experience the high of what each page had to offer.
The style of the text is as a series of questions and answers. The authors propose the questions and the guides provide the interpretations.
One common theme that the guides reintegrate regularly is that "anything" that comes into your experience does so only by way of the Law of attraction.
As a person "thinks" about something, a type of magnetic energy literally pulls that event into their experience, it makes no difference whether you desire it or not.
The more you "think" about it, the more magnetic energy you generate, and the stronger the pull. Quite simply if you don't want it, don't think about it.
The book gives a number of examples of this Law in action. One example was that of a robber wanting to rob some body. This wanting, or "thinking" about this event activated the Law of attraction to bring about this event to the robber.
At the same time another person who might feel that they are a victim of fate and think they deserve to be victimize are also sending out thoughts to attract more of how they feel expecting to be victimize.
The Law of attraction gives both people what they are thinking and expecting. When the parties "coincidentally" meet, their collective prophecies are fulfilled.
I understand the foundation of the ideals expressed, that the victim brought about their circumstances, but how would you explain this concept to someone who has been raped?
I'm sure you can think of a number of other examples, as to how this powerful Law seems to answer a lot of questions about events good or bad that seem to magically happen to people.
The book then goes on to talk about the science of deliberate creation. This just means that now that you know the mechanics of the first Law, you can now create with deliberate intent, instead of by default.
When these Laws are utilized by a focused mind earth shattering events are the results. Be they the generation of new religions, or the manifestation of the horrors of a world war, to the sublimely maniacal heavy metal guitar riffs of Eddy Van Halen.
The Laws works the same for "anybody" without exception. The authors then goes on to discuss the last Law in the trilogy of the Laws.
In conjunction with the first 2 Laws, there is a 3rd companion, and that is the Law of allowing. It is one thing to want something, and set up the vibrations to attract the event, its another to "allow" the event to manifest in your life.
If you feel unworthy and think you don't deserve something, all the daydreaming and craving won't bring the event into your life, because you are not allowing it to enter.
Another name for this is self sabotage. A whole chapter is given to this concept, because of its importance. This book is a good read, because it further opens the eyes of the initiate, as well as the neophyte.
What is really taking place as you read this book is that you are being reminded of what you already know. As Plato said "all learning is remembering".
Ask yourself, what events are you unconsciously creating? View 2 comments. May 20, Len Feder rated it did not like it.
Did you know that if you want to become rich all you have to do is believe you will and you will. If you do not it's because you didn't believe you would.
Oh this is such a pile of crap. It's nice to think positively but Esther Hicks is an outright liar and scam artist.
This is one of the few books I immediately threw in the garbage after giving it a fair chance. It is utter garbage. She nods her head once or twice and then p Did you know that if you want to become rich all you have to do is believe you will and you will.
She nods her head once or twice and then presto, she is not Esther Hicks anymore, she is "Abraham". And Abraham is a master at giving speeches, a real morale booster.
He's a con artist, much like Esther Hicks. What a coincidence. Esther Hicks needs a spanking for all the lies she tells.
Take a look at the name she chose for her lies. She obviously meant some of us to believe that this is the spirit of the Biblical Abraham.
Why else choose this name for your BS character? Somehow I don't remember the Biblical Abraham taking such an interest in making us all rich.
Weren't his interests a bit more spiritual than that? I have never seen a spirit medium presentation that focused on making us rich.
They are all spiritual. They are about reuniting with loved ones. They are not about making a financial killing. This book is horse doody even though the message that it's good to think positively is a good message.
Sure it is. Think positively, and maybe it will lead you to some great things financially. But this liar pretends to channel a spirit who is a motivational speaker, and it's offensive nonsense.

For the rest of the information contained in this material, your doing yourself a major disservice for not reading and comprehending this knowledge.
Once you read it, you'll know the truth it contains. Think about all those experiences you've had in life that YOU attracted into it.
Did you not think you were magnetic in nature? I remember those little tiny messages I Ignore any negative reviews about this book and its message.
I remember those little tiny messages I once gave myself which I totally erase from my thoughts today, such as "I'm having such good luck this week, next week will be a bummer because I have to repay for the good with bad.
Without this book, you may have found this out already, but with it, you will be guided so thoroughly, you can't help to eliminate these negative intentions and replace them with positive thoughts that WILL change your life!
Finally, we have the hidden message, to reprogram our thoughts, we are asked to become "selfish", yes it's true.
Demand what we want, totally eliminate any thought on what we don't want, it will then fall away from us. In the end it isn't selfish means after all.
We each have a good life, and the world becomes better, so in the long run, was that really selfish? Our free will means freeing up our willingness.
Be willing to be selfish, be free with it, intent your demand for happiness and joy, see it, feel it, breathe it, then you receive it.
And then get on here and tell us how it worked for you, and be a guide for others to follow these truths. Being selfish will be redefined, it isn't negative after all.
Oh and remember, if your a magnet and I'm a magnet, then we are also attracting to each other. So if your day becomes great and your happy, your feeding the energy field of your neighbor with happy energies too.
Nope, that sure isn't being selfish after all, by ways we once defined selfishness. View all 4 comments. Mar 10, pegah rated it it was amazing Shelves: owned , read-twice.

I recommend this book frequently to clients and use it in my coaching and speaking work to emphasize how each of us really do create our reality.
Now that I know how the Law works, I have become able to stay much more positive and trusting. It amazes me how things fall into place as they never have before.

The principles within the book are ageless and timeless. We benefit from the refresher course nonetheless. Oct 08, Nader Alfie rated it liked it.
Read this on a recommendation. While I did not buy it wholesale and some parts struck me as weird , I took two helpful points from a quick read: 1.
You are going to attract the good and bad things you think about most. It is better to think positively in terms of what you want rather than negatively in terms of what you don't want.
The result of this format is a very repetitive and loosely organized "interview. However, despite the weak structure, the information itself is very helpful.
Key passages are italicized and the repetition of explanations does serve to clearly drive home the main ideas. You come away from the book with a very clear understanding of the laws and techniques, despite how difficult it is to read.
Side note: Unless you are very open to spiritual or metaphysical concepts, it's best to ignore the nature in which the book was written, and just take from the reading what will help you to live a happier, more effortless life.
I ran out of time to finish this book, but I did get about halfway through before it became overdue. I completely believe in the power of thought and attitude to alter our perception of reality.
Under certain conditions, I somewhat believe in their assertion that thought can actually alter reality. I have a very hard time believing their assertion that absolutely everything in your life was drawn I ran out of time to finish this book, but I did get about halfway through before it became overdue.
Like attracts like, yes, but I take issue with the implication that everything that happens in our lives is our fault.
I mean, really, the jerk who runs the red light at 50 mph and slams into the minivan totally has brought an accident into his life, but the three-year-old in the car-seat can't possibly have "attracted" the crash!
It's too blame-the-victim for me. Despite some fantastic quotes I was moved to copy and show other people, the more time passes, the more the memory of this book irritates me.
Thought without corresponding action, in other words. So in the end, I'm revising my rating and recommending skipping this book in favor of others written by deeper thinkers.
My original review: I'm only about a quarter of the way through this book so far, and it's just now starting to get to the good stuff.
The whole beginning is This premise rings very true for me in most respects, so I'm glad I stuck it out through the channeling-the-spirits phase of the book.
But I read another version of this a while back Well, the main thing is that the other book had less crazy stuff but also less detail, so it's probably helpful to read both.

What is the cost? Only your critical thinking skills. You must completely surrender yourself to your emotional guidance and let it show you the secrets of the universe.
Esther Hicks channels this book or as she would say, "receives" from a nonphysical perspective from the group of entities collectively known as Abraham.

They know what you want, everything that you desire, and they will tell you everything that will make you feel more at ease about this world around you.
I highly recommend this book as the beginning of a serious delusion about the nature of reality, as you exchange actual reality with the one presented by Abraham.
The upside? The belief that you are the creator of your reality. The downside? Immense guilt and self-blame for everything that is going wrong.
Will this be the answer to all your questions? I've known plenty of Abers an affectionate term used among people applying the principles of Abraham and they have just as many problems as everyone else.
The only difference is Abers are more guarded and defensive about their altered perception of the universe than most.
Though, you will see similar delusions in other fundamental religions.September 1, Language: : German. Sell on Amazon Start a Selling Account. Wurzeln des Menschseins 0.
